PTP stands for Press Through Packaging. It's a type of blister packaging where tablets or capsules are sealed between a formed blister base web and an aluminum foil lidding layer. An RFQ can request width, foil gauge, roll diameter and fixed print artwork. Provide the base web, machine details and required print side, colors and coding areas so print and converting feasibility can be confirmed for the quoted specification.

Aluminum foil can be evaluated as the lidding barrier layer, but finished-blister performance depends on the foil condition, coating, base web, cavity, seals, process and storage. Define the required test methods and acceptance limits for the complete blister system.
